We are a Living Wage Employer and proud of it.

This is close to our hearts and very important to us, particularly being a southwest hospitality business (a region where almost a fifth of all jobs – 18.1% – pay less than the real Living Wage – which equates to around 424,000 jobs).

We’ve won all our lovely shiny awards because of our team; they are our core strength and we are as committed to them as they are to us. Many have been with us for years and we plan to keep them for many more, hence our emphasis on a supportive environment, recognising and celebrating achievements, and a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work (something with which we’re all too familiar, and never shy away from).

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It’s a voluntary benchmark for employers wishing to ensure their people earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum. Since 2011, the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 300,000 people and put over £1.6 billion extra into the pockets of low paid workers.
