Here at The Olive Tree, we’re all in a celebratory mood, and no, not just because the festive season is rapidly upon us, but also because we have amassed a flattering amount of awards recently. There’s always room for one more, though…

The Food Reader Award lets you, the reader, the admirer and the enthusiast, nominate your favourite chefs, restaurants or establishments in the South West. They’re the only food and drink awards in the region that are nominated solely by the readers, and are highly prized.

This is the first stage, where you will be nominating people for the short list. In December, the short list will be announced and you will get the chance to make your final votes. The winners of the award will be decided as a result of the volume of votes. You will be allowed to nominate one choice per category, but you don’t have to nominate someone in every category, just the ones that apply!

-Best Restaurant (Sponsored by Total Produce) – Olive Tree

-Best Foodie Hotel (Sponsored by Jelf) – The Queensberry hotel
